Product Description

The FastGene® Library Quantification kit is a quantitative
PCR based assay to determine the quantity of sequencing
competent NGS-libraries for the Illumina® sequencing
platform. The FastGene® Library Quantification kit comes
with primers, qPCR master mix, ROX additive and DNA
standards.

Accurate and Sensitive qPCR-based Quantification

The FastGene® NGS Library Quantification kit was developed to reduce the variability in cluster density, resulting in improved sequencing results. The standards have been designed to allow a perfect concentration determination. The superior qPCR Master Mix included in the FastGene® NGS Library Quantification kit is able to detect even the smallest amount of libraries.

 

How did the NGS Library Quantification works?

The diluted library and the five known FastGene® NGS Standards are amplified using specific primers. The calibration curve is formed and used to determine the concentration of the sequencing competent libraries (Fig 1).

Specific detection of Libraries

FastGene® NGS Library Quantification kit comes with primers which are specific to the Illumina® adapters. Hence, only the libraries which have the adapter will be recognized by the FastGene® NGS Library Quantification kit.

 

Perfect Standards

FastGene® NGS Library Quantification kit comes with five very stable standards. These standards allow the formation of a standard curve to determine the concentration of a diluted library.

 

Consistent Results
All components of the FastGene® NGS Library Quantification kit are submitted to repeated controls to ensure that there is no batch to batch difference. Additionally, freeze-thaw experiments of the components of the FastGene® NGS Library Quantification kit showed that no change was visible after repeatedly freeze-thawing the kit.
